The US Water Infrastructure Crisis Part 3

US infrastructure has been crumbling for years. Roads are full of potholes, bridges and dams are structurally inefficient, and water systems in every state are in dire need of repair.

The only way to create change is by uniting our voices in an effort to raise awareness – that’s the goal of this year’s Infrastructure Week, which will take place from May 15-19, 2017.

People all across the country will be taking part. It’s a national week of events geared towards educating our leaders why infrastructure is such a critical issue.

Now is the time to start planning how you’re going to participate. There are many ways to get involved. We encourage you to write to your Senator asking them to support infrastructure investment, plan an event in your community, and stay active on social media – be sure to use #TimeToBuild.

Visit infrastructureweek.org to learn more and email opinions@wasda.com to tell us how you’re planning to get involved – we’ll feature you on social media.
